The Place:

The first cafe opened in Whanganui, next came Bulls and then Taupo.  This modern wee gem on the main highway has every taste bud covered.  You can order from the cabinet food or from the extensive menu.  You can have a salad, burger, Good Old Eggs Benedict, Gluten free, dairy free, or vegetarian.  There is plenty of seating inside this fresh, modern looking cafe as well as a children’s playground area outside.

The Service:

The service was pretty good.

The presentation:

Our meals were platted up quite nicely.  The balsamic glaze added a zest of colour and the spinach gave it some much needed greenery.

  • The Benedict – was yummy.
  • The eggs – were warm and runny.
  • The bacon – was smokey and there was a nice portion size.
  • The spinach – was slightly overdone but there was a good amount.
  • The hollandaise – homemade, creamy and delicious.
  • The bread – focaccia – was okay.

Would we go again?

Yes it was convenient and the food was good.
